Interested in exploring the world? Ready to let your passion lead you to foreign lands? Ready to impact the world by serving others? Student participants in the Global Citizenship Program (G.L.O.B.A.L.) engage in interdisciplinary studies; community service; and cultural activities and experiences to increase their global awareness, expand their appreciation of diversity, and strengthen their ability to work and innovate in a globally connected world. As a member of GLOBAL, you will be embracing all facets of Newburyport Public Schools’ Portrait of a Graduate. Upon successful completion of this three-year program, students will receive a Global Citizenship Certification, which will become a part of their academic transcript. Don’t fear if you’re an upperclassman; accommodations will be made to allow you to participate.
