PREREQUISITE: Successful completion of Algebra II
Students will apply reasoning and math modeling to real-life decision making. Hands-on materials and data collection are used to demonstrate how the mathematical concepts students have learned throughout their schooling can be applied to solve problems they are likely to encounter in their professional and personal lives. In this course, students will learn to analyze information, model relationships mathematically and solve complex problems. Topics explored will include: Numerical reasoning, relations and functions, data analysis and trigonometry.
