PREREQUISITE: B or better in Geometry Honors and Algebra II Honors or Department Chair Approval

Students who enroll in this course must be highly motivated and able to meet the demands of a fast paced and in depth upper-level math course. This course will include both the theory and abstract reasoning that lie behind the concepts being studied. This course will include an in-depth study of elementary, polynomial, exponential, logarithmic, and trigonometric functions. The study of Trigonometry will incorporate all of the traditional topics including: solving right triangles, solving non-right triangles, radian measure, graphing, proving identities, and solving trigonometric equations. This course will also include an in-depth study of conic sections, sequences, series, summation, limits, and rational functions.
