PREREQUISITE: One of more of the following classes: Industrial Design, Computer Aided Design, Honors Engineering Ideas into Prototypes (previously called Engineering in the 21st Century), Programming for Game Design, Web Design, Photoshop

In this course, students will dive into the basics of creating fun and interactive game experiences. The class will focus on traditional (non-digital) games such as card games, board games, and interactive experiences (such as room escape games and puzzles) to explore the building blocks of great game design. The focus is on understanding the core elements of effective game design, and exploring the universality of these principles across various game genres. No programming knowledge is necessary for participation.
