PREREQUISITE: Permission of the teacher.

Students in honors band will complete all regular band requirements, plus audition for an honors ensemble outside of school, and write a reflection on the experience. Junior and Senior District band and NMYO auditions fulfill this process. Alternately, and with teacher guidance, a student may develop an honors project and write a weekly reflection about the process. Honors students will assist with concerts at Molin and Nock, at the discretion of the music teacher. Course may be repeated for credit.
