PREREQUISITE: Successful completion of Algebra I or Department Approval.

This will provide students with a working foundation in the concepts of Geometry. Topics studied will include properties of triangles, quadrilaterals, and other polygons. As well as congruence, similarity, right triangles, the Pythagorean Theorem, area of polygons, surface area, volume, and other topics included in the Massachusetts Curriculum Framework. This course, in conjunction with an Algebra I course, will address topics needed to prepare students for the 10th grade math MCAS.
