Band at NHS is a full year course, with a primary focus on Concert Band. This course will still support Marching and Pep-Band. Extra-Curricular time will be provided to support additional practice to prepare student for Marching and Pep-Band. You’ve already lived it at another level, now take it higher in NHS band! Play advanced music, become a section leader or drum major, start a small ensemble to perform outside of school. Take your playing to levels you’ve never thought possible! Attend performances of college bands, the Boston Symphony Orchestra, and more. Opportunities exist to play most Friday nights, for assemblies, and for city functions. Get more out of your instrument. Join NHS band! Course may be repeated for credit.
