Students will learn & apply a developing knowledge of the elements and principles of design to produce creative art projects, using multimedia in drawing, painting and possibly sculpture that reflects their understanding of these concepts and their personal self-expression. Projects are designed to challenge the student and to utilize
their independent thinking and problem solving skills. Art history and cultural connections will be woven into the hands-on learning process. Specifically, students in this class will learn the prerequisites needed to excel in all other art courses.
