PREREQUISITE: B or better in Algebra I Honors and Geometry Honors or Department Approval

This course is designed for highly motivated students who are able to meet the demands of a faster paced and more in-depth study of Algebra II. Topics studied will include radicals, complex numbers, fractional and negative exponents, quadratic equations and functions, rational expressions and functions, polynomial functions, exponential and logarithmic functions, as well as other topics included in the Massachusetts Curriculum Framework. Due to faster pacing, additional topics will be included that will vary depending on the needs of the students.
