PREREQUISITE: C or better in Algebra I (CP 1) and Geometry (CP 1) or Department Approval.

This course is designed to provide students with a solid foundation of Algebra II and will allow students to develop key algebraic skills as well as explore a variety of functions. Topics studied will include radicals, complex numbers, fractional and negative exponents, quadratic equations and functions, rational expressions and functions, polynomial functions, exponential and logarithmic functions, as well as other topics included in the Massachusetts Curriculum Framework.
