This is a one-semester course that commences with the Russian Revolution through the Contemporary World. Topics will include: The Russian Revolution, the Age Between the Wars, the Great Depression, World War II, the advent of the Nuclear Age, the Cold War, the Middle East, Africa, the decline and collapse of the Soviet Union, ethnic and religious conflicts, apartheid, and the technological revolution.
