This is a one semester course designed for the student with a serious interest in history. Students should be strong writers and possess superior study skills and personal time management. It covers the same chronological period as World History Part I, but in more depth. Time is set aside for research assignments, and projects. The reading of a variety of supplementary materials is required, in addition to the basic text. A major research project is assigned each semester. In addition, students should meet the “Prerequisites for Honors Placement” from page 9.
